A Tradition of Food & Family
Sheboygan's Greek Fest 2016
Three Days - June 23 - 25
Deland Park on Sheboygan's Lakefront
It’s all GYRO to me!
We pronounce Gyro kind of like "hero", but no matter how you say it,
it’s delicious...just like all the other festival food!
Opa! Your cheese is on fire!
And, that’s a GOOD thing. Saganaki, or flaming cheese, is served hot off the grill with a little bread and a lot of flash. Yell "Opa" when Frank adds the fire. You might not want to share.
AbZORBA the fun!
And by that we mean DANCE! Watch the costumed dancers and clap and tap to that Mediterranean beat , move around in the aisles, accept an invitation to join in, and have some fun!
Honey DO List!
The art of soaking pastry in a sweet honey syrup goes way back in our Greek history. Nutty baklava, cookies, walnut cakes, and our tantalizing hot honey puffs all get a little splash of golden honey. But there are lots of handmade treats, and desserts, that will catch your eye. Including baklava topped ice cream (Never, on a Sundae!)
